offering Virtual Production training

This innovative program builds on Sheridan’s reputation in the screen industries – rated as one of the Top 10 Visual Effects Schools in the world. The applied learning portion will be held at the state-of-the-art Virtual Production House, by The Other End, a renowned Toronto-based production company. The program is made possible through a sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery Access Canada, a founding partner in the development of the VP Micro-Credential, and with the support of the City of Toronto’s xoTO Screen Industry Pathways.

This groundbreaking program will elevate, activate and connect Canadian talent from communities that have been historically marginalized with global opportunities and global audiences. The VP Micro-Credential is just one part of the suite of above- and below-the-line initiatives that builds on Warner Bros. Discovery’s relationships with creators, craftspeople and technicians of all genders and abilities from communities including Indigenous, Black, and racialized groups, people with disabilities, and members of LGBTQ2+ and Francophone minority communities.
